Size.

This photo shows the page sizes of the book. I have gone for large pages because it was a trend that I was seeing through out my research, also I believe that having bigger pages shows of the art work through out the book in better clarity. This helps because the children of the age range that this book is made for will probably not be able to read and they need other ways to keep there attention.

Finding the Story!

To make a start to the design i had to first find the story to base it on, i needed to find a a book that has been split up into a small amount of pages so that it is easy to copy into my design, i also needed to do this first so i had something to design around

Here is a link to the website that supplied the story:

Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red Riding Hood:

This task set was to illustrate and design the artwork for either a already existing story or to start from the beginning and write the story as well.

I decided that to get the most out of this project I would redesign an already written story, the story i choose was, "little Red Riding Hood" this is because i think that there are many different way that this story can be portrayed through the design that can completely change the way that the story is read.

On this blog i will show all the different Stages of the design of this book :D
